Yadav appointed Chief Minister of Madhes Province

KATHMANDU:- The parliamentary party leader of Nepali Congress Madhes Province Assembly, Krishna Prasad Yadav, was appointed the Chief Minister of Madhes Province.

Province Chief Surendra Labh Karn appointed Yadav to the post of the Chief Minister today as per Article 168 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal, the Province Assembly Secretariat stated.

Acting Secretary at the Office of the Chief of Madhes Province Satrudhan Yadav issued a statement sharing that the NC parliamentary party leader of Madhes Province Assembly Yadav was appointed the Chief Minister with the support of 77 province assembly members of six political parties.

The newly-appointed Chief Minister has received support from Nepali Congress, Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal, Janamat Party, CPN (Maoist Centre), Loktantrik Samajwadi Party Nepal and CPN (Unified Socialist). (RSS)
