UML Chair Oli moves to rented house

BHAKTAPUR:- CPN (UML) Chairperson and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has moved to Gundu of Bhaktapur district from the Nepali Army protection.

Chairperson Oli, who was under the protection of the Nepali Army since he stepped down as the Prime Minister following the Gen-Z protest on September 24, has been shifted to a rented house at Gundu, Suryabinayak municipality-7 on Thursday. His Balkot-based house was torched and vandalised during the protest.

UML General-Secretary Shankar Pokhrel, leader Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal, Mahesh Basnet and UML Bhaktapur District Chairperson Bachan Deuja, among others, met Chairperson Oli at his Gundu-based rented house on Thursday itself.

The UML informed that Chairperson Oli would address a programme to be organised by the party on the occasion of the Constitution Day at the Chyasal-based party office the next day.
