NC leadership urged to reconsider disciplinary action against Gurung

KATHMANDU:- Nepali Congress (NC) leaders aligned with Dr Shekhar Koirala have expressed dissatisfaction with the disciplinary action announced by the party’s Disciplinary Committee against party Vice President Dhan Raj Gurung.

The group criticised the move as unilateral and against the party’s statute.

A meeting of the group held today decided to urge the party President not to implement the disciplinary committee’s decision, according to party leader and lawmaker Rajendra Bajgain.

The meeting concluded that Vice President Gurung has played a significant role in uniting the party by refraining from engaging in favouritism.

Those present at the meeting included joint general secretary Jeevan Pariyar, leaders Arjun Narsingh KC, Bal Bahadur KC, Dr Minendra Rijal, Disciplinary Committee member Sanjay Gautam, and Vice President Gurung himself. (RSS)
