Sobita Gautam wins HoR seat from Chitwan-3

CHITWAN:- Sobita Gautam of the Rastriya Swatantra Party has been elected to the House of Representatives from Chitwan District Constituency 3.

According to the Election Office, Gautam secured 59,277 votes in the election.

Her closest rival, Renu Dahal of the Nepali Communist Party, received 20,615 votes. Similarly, Tek Prasad Gurung of the Nepali Congress obtained 8,344 votes, while Shankar Raj Thapaliya of the CPN (UML) received 504 votes.

Likewise, Deepak Thapa Magar of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party secured 1,226 votes.

There are 155,212 registered voters in the constituency. A total of 133,000 votes were cast, of which 3,375 were invalid, according to the Election Office.
