President Trump’s commitment to assist Nepal

WASHINGTON:- President Donald Trump has pledged to provide all possible assistance to Nepal.

According to the US news outlet NBC News, he expressed this commitment while speaking briefly to the media on Thursday following a ceremony at the White House held to sign an executive order regarding the renaming of Lake Ontario.

“The US is ready to provide whatever assistance Nepal needs,” NBC reported, quoting President Trump. He stated that after receiving information from Nepali officials regarding the damage caused by the Bhote Koshi floods, he conveyed the US’s readiness to assist them.
