Possibility of heavy rain in Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces on Tuesday
KATHMANDU:- The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has stated that the country is currently under the influence of monsoon winds. The monsoon low-pressure trough is currently positioned near its normal location.
As a result, the weather across the country is generally cloudy. Light to moderate rain is occurring in a few places within Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces.
Generally cloudy conditions will prevail across the country this afternoon. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain accompanied by lightning in some places within the country’s Himalayan and hilly regions.
Additionally, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain accompanied by lightning in some areas of the Terai regions of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as in a few areas of the Terai regions of Koshi and Madhesh provinces.
There is a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places across the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces. Gusty winds are also likely in some areas of the Terai in Madhesh and Koshi provinces.
Tonight, the weather will be generally cloudy across the country. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain accompanied by lightning in some places within the mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and in a few places within the mountainous regions of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
There is a possibility of light to moderate rain accompanied by lightning in some hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, and in a few hilly areas of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.

The Department has stated that heavy rain is possible in one or two places within the mountainous and hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
