PM Karki briefed on election preparation, security situation in Bhojpur

BHOJPUR:- Security agencies have briefed Prime Minister Sushila Karki on the preparation of the House of Representatives election scheduled for March 5 and the security situation in Bhojpur.

A team comprising Chief District Officer Rajan Poudel briefed the Prime Minister about election preparation and security situation in course of PM’s visit to know the situation of mountainous region. PM Karki arrived in Bhojpur in this connection. She is scheduled to visit mountainous districts of eastern region till Friday to know about election preparation and security arrangement.

Talking to media persons at Solukhumbu, PM Karki shared that the election would be held on the slated date in a single phase.

The team of Chief District Officer Poudel, District Judge and Chief Returning Officer Narayan Prasad Dahal, chiefs of four security bodies, election officer, among others held discussion with PM Karki about election and security related issues. (RSS)
