One dead, seven injured in Lamjung jeep accident

LAMJUNG:- One died while seven others sustained injuries when a jeep met with an accident in Marsyangdi Rural Municipality, Lamjung, along the Merche road section today. 

Jeep (Ga 1 Ja 5065) en route from Bhugunj to Besisahar, went out of control and veered off some 50 meters down the road, causing an unfortunate accident.

The deceased has been identified as 74-year-old Mal Kumari Gurung of Kwhlosothar Rural Municipality-4, according to the Police Inspector Abhishek Pandey, Information Officer of the District Police Office, Lamjung district.

Of the 10 onboard passengers, seven sustained injuries in an accident.

The injured are undergoing treatment at the Lamjung Hospital.
