Nepali cricket squad for Asian Games announced

KATHMANDU:-  A 15-member men’s national cricket squad for the 20th  Asian Games has been announced.

The Nepal Olympic Committee announced the squad on Sunday, with all-rounder Dipendra Singh Airee leading the team.

The 20th edition of the Asian Games is scheduled to be held in Japan from coming September 19 to October 4.

The squad representing Nepal in cricket includes Rohit Kumar Paudel, Sandeep Lamichhane, Aasif Sheikh, Kushal Bhurtel, Aarif Sheikh, Lokesh Bam, Sandeep Jora, Sompal Kami, Karan KC, Gulshan Kumar Jha, Kushal Malla, Nandan Yadav, Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi and Sher Malla.

Stuart Law is the head coach of the squad.
