Nepali Congress’s 15th General Convention begin on October 4
KATHMANDU:- The Nepali Congress is set to hold the inaugural ceremony of its 15th General Convention at Khulamanch in Kathmandu on October 4 at 2:00 PM.
According to a press release issued on Tuesday by the party’s Acting Chief Secretary, Krishna Prasad Dulal, the conventions at the ward, rural municipality, and municipality levels have already been concluded. Currently, conventions for the Provincial Assembly constituencies and House of Representatives constituencies are underway.
The statement notes that the process of selecting regional convention and general convention representatives is still underway in some constituencies due to heavy rainfall across various parts of the country.
The Congress has stated that, despite this situation—based on information received from the election committee and the party’s various levels of working committees—the inaugural ceremony will proceed on the scheduled date.
Earlier, preparations were made to inaugurate the general convention on October 2.
