Nepali Communist Party central members take oath

KATHMANDU:- Members of the Central Committee of the Nepali Communist Party (NPC) have taken the oath of the office and secrecy.

Senior most member of the party, NK Prasai, administered to the oath to the other members amid a special function at the party’s central office in Paris Danda.

Formed following merger of over a dozen leftist parties including the CPN (Maoist Center) and the CPN (Unified Socialist), the NCP has made a total of 2,499-member central committee.

The NCP is planning to hold general convention within six months.
