Nepal defeats China by 3-1 in U20 women friendly football match

KATHMANDU:- Nepal emerged victorious in the U20 international friendly football match between Nepal and Yunan women youth team of China.

In the match held today at the Dasharath stadium, Nepal defeated guest China by 3-1 as China scored a goal in the first half while Nepal posted three goals in the second half.

China posted its first goal at the 41st minute of the game while Nepal posted its first goal at the 84th minute of the match. In the 87th minute Nepal scored one more goal and in the injury period Nepal posted yet another one and made three goals in total.

The friendly match was held on the occasion of Chinese New Year and it was organised by the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) and the Physical Education Faculty of the Yunan University as well as Overseas Chinese Association.
