Nepal defeated by Sri Lanka in CAVA Championship match

KATHMANDU:- Nepal has been defeated by Sri Lanka in today’s match of the Men’s Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) Championship.

This is Nepal’s second consecutive drubbing in the tournament. In the first game yesterday, Nepal was defeated by Kazakhstan in sets of 3–2.

In a match held today at the Liaquat Gymnasium in Islamabad, Pakistan, Nepal was defeated by Sri Lanka 3–2 in sets. Sri Lanka won the first set 25–18.

Then, Nepal took the next two sets, winning the second set 25–21 and the third set 25–19. Sri Lanka grabbed the fourth set 25–21.

In the final set, Sri Lanka also won 15–11 to win the match. Nepal will now play their third match on Friday against the host, Pakistan. After the single round-robin league, the top four teams will enter the semifinals.

The tournament includes the host Pakistan, along with Nepal, Kazakhstan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Uzbekistan.
