Nepal defeat Qatar by 8 wickets

KATHMANDU:- Nepal Women Cricket team defeated Qatar by 8 wickets in Asian Cricket Council Women’s Premier Cup held today in Malaysia. 

Qatar set a target of 77 runs in 20 overs. Nepal chased the target in just 10.5 overs with a loss of 2 wickets. Nepal scored 78 runs . Rubina Chhetry got player of the match for taking 3 wickets.

For Qatar, Captain Getrude Chandiru scored 25 runs in 19 balls, Fatima Mukadam scored 6 runs in 18 balls, Shrutiben Rana scored 9 runs in 10 balls, Krisheta Sarvankumar scored 8 runs in 17 balls, Aysha scored 10 runs in 11 balls, Shahreen Bahadur scored 2 runs in 6 balls, Khadija Imtiaz scored 2 runs in 5 balls.

Shahreen Bahadur and Khadija Imtiaz took one wicket each.

Samjhana Khadka scored 3 runs in 6 balls, Bindu Rawal scored 33 runs in 30 balls, Puja Mahato scored 28 runs in 26 balls, Captain Indu Barma scored 6 runs in 5 balls.

Player of the match Rubina Chhetry took 3 wickets, Kabita Kunwar, Riya Sharma and Puja Mahato took on wicket each.
