Nepal beat Sri Lanka in SAFF U-20 Women Championship by 7-0

KATHMANDU:- Nepal beat Sri Lanka by 7-0 goals in the SAFF U-20 Women’s Championship held in Dhaka on Thursday. 

Kushum Khatiwada and Samiksha Magar scored two goals each for Nepal. In addition, Purnima Rai, Sarita Nath and Captain Birshana Chaudhary scored one goal each.

Nepal has been able to maintain at top spot. Before this, Nepal beat Bhutan by 6-1 in the first game.

Meanwhile, Nepal was defeated by Bangladesh with 3-2 goals.
