Nepal ‘A’ Heads to Australia for Top End T20 Series

KATHMANDU:- Nepal ‘A’ cricket team has departed for Australia to compete in the Top End T20 Series, with Anil Kumar Sah leading the 15-member squad.

The team left for Australia on Monday night. The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) had formally seen off the squad ahead of its departure.

Nepal ‘A’ will begin its campaign on August 21, taking on Northern Territory Strike in its opening match.

The Nepali side will then face Bangladesh High Performance on August 22, Hobart Hurricanes Academy on August 24, Australian Capital Territory on August 26, Hyderabad Kingsmen Academy on August 27 and Victoria CA-11 on August 29.

In addition to the T20 series, Nepal ‘A’ is scheduled to play one-day practice matches against New Zealand ‘A’, Tasmania and South Australia during its stay in Australia.

The tour is expected to provide valuable international exposure to Nepal’s emerging cricketers ahead of their future assignments.
