NCP’s ‘National Awareness Campaign’ begins today
KATHMANDU:- The Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has launched a ‘National Awakening Campaign’ today, with the objectives of safeguarding national sovereignty, protecting democracy and people’s rights, transforming the party, and laying the groundwork for the establishment of socialism.
NCP Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ stated that the campaign—which will run until the 25th of Mangsir—will involve direct engagement with various groups, including farmers, the working class, laborers, youth, students, women, Dalits, indigenous nationalities (Adivasi Janajati), Madheshis, people from marginalized regions, intellectuals, and business professionals.
“Through this campaign, led by the party’s central-level leaders, we are reaching out to villages, wards, and your very own neighborhoods to listen to the problems, grievances, suggestions, and criticisms of the people,” he said while announcing the campaign. “We will gather facts and experiences regarding issues such as inflation, unemployment, black marketing, corruption, economic insecurity, delays in public services, the challenges faced by the landless and laborers, and difficulties related to foreign employment.”
