NC will safeguard democratic values, Spokesperson Mahat says

KATHMANDU:- Nepali Congress (NC) Spokesperson Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat has said that NC would work to safeguard democratic values, abiding by the constitutional framework.

In a press conference organized today, the NC Spokesperson mentioned that the party would move ahead by carefully reviewing the shortcomings of the past.

Dr Mahat made it clear that the party’s upcoming Central Committee meeting to be held on October 12 will decide on the general convention of the NC.

Referring to the discussions on social media about the ban on political parties, Dr Mahat said that the NC will not tolerate such a move if it happens.
