Montha cyclone weakening

KATHMANDU:- The Montha cyclone originated from the Bay of Bengal, is gradually weakening. However, clear weather is awaited.

The cyclone had impacted the weather across the country. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has predicted light rainfall and snowfall in a few places of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces. Similarly, the hilly region will be partly cloudy. Both the westerly wind and the low-pressure belt formed in the Arabian Sea have a strong impact on our system at present.

It will be generally cloudy in Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces during the day, while some hilly regions and Madhes Province will be partly cloudy. The remaining places are predicted to have clear weather.
