Light Rain Likely in Koshi and Lumbini Provinces

KATHMANDU:- The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said there is a possibility of light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in parts of Koshi and Lumbini provinces today.

According to the Division, similar conditions may occur at one or two places in the Tarai regions of these provinces, while a few areas in the hilly and mountainous regions across the country could also witness light rainfall and snowfall.

The weather is expected to remain generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous areas, with partly cloudy conditions in the Tarai.

Meteorologists said the current weather pattern is influenced by a westerly low-pressure system combined with local winds affecting different parts of the country.
