Light rain and snowfall likely in the mountainous areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces
KATHMANDU:- The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has stated that the country is currently under the partial influence of westerly winds. As a result, there is partial cloud cover in the Himalayan and hilly regions, while the weather in the Terai region remains mainly clear.
This afternoon, the Himalayan and hilly regions of the country will experience partial cloud cover, while the weather in the Terai region will remain mainly clear. There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in one or two places within the Himalayan regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
Tonight, the Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces will experience partial cloud cover, while the weather in the remaining Himalayan and hilly regions of the country will remain mainly clear. During the morning hours, fog and mist are expected in some places across the Terai region, valleys, and gorges.
On Monday, the Himalayan and hilly regions of the country will see partial cloud cover, while the weather in the Terai region will remain mainly clear. The department has stated that there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in one or two places within the Himalayan region of Koshi Province.
