‘Jhingedau 2’ teaser goes viral due to fight between actresses Keki and Aanchal
KATHMANDU:- The film ‘Jhingedau’, released in 2079 BS, became a superhit largely due to the conflict between the sisters-in-law (Deurani*and Jethani). Now, the sequel to the film is set to be released on Ashwin 2. The teaser, unveiled last Wednesday, suggests that the sequel is also likely to captivate the audience; it powerfully portrays everything from domestic squabbles to emotional elements.
The release of the teaser has triggered a flood of views on YouTube. Within just five days, it has garnered over a million views and more than 600 comments, reflecting the audience’s enthusiasm. While some have appreciated the on-screen conflict between Keki Adhikari and Aanchal Sharma, others have praised the director’s vision. Overall, the teaser appears to have successfully impressed the audience.
Some scenes from the teaser have gone viral on Facebook and TikTok. The production team has stated that the teaser has already garnered over 10 million views across these two platforms alone. In particular, a scene featuring a scuffle between Keki and Aanchal—filmed atop a tree—has spread widely on social media. In the film, they portray the roles of sisters-in-law.
Directed by Gyanendra Deuja, the film features performances by Keki and Aanchal, alongside Aryan Sigdel, Mahesh Tripathi, Saroj Khanal, Kushal Bista, Hiuwala Gautam, Basundhara Bhusal, Chaitya Devi, Sangam Bhandari, Abhayraj Baral, Anshu Maharjan, Bijay Deuja, and Uttam KC, among others. The film is jointly produced by Sulav Pratik Deuja and Samiksha Deuja.
Presented by Kapangadhi Cinema and Film Crew Nepal, the film features cinematography by Vishnu Ghimire (Kalpit), editing by Mitra D. Gurung, music by Arjun Pokharel, choreography by Ramji Lamichhane, and action direction by Roshan Shrestha. Parichhed Sen wrote the screenplay and dialogue, while the story was penned by Govinda Phuyal and Shishir Chalise.
