IPPAN gets new executive committee under Dangi’s leadership

KATHMANDU:- The 24th Annual General Meeting of the Independent Power Producers’ Association Nepal (IPPAN) has picked a new executive committee under the leadership of Mohan Kumar Dangi. 

The election committee announced a new executive committee during the general meeting concluded on Friday midnight. 

Dangi has automatically become the President of the IPPAN as per its statute. 

Uttam Bhulon has been elected the senior vice president unopposed. The vice presidents elected unopposed are Uttar Kumar Shrestha, Narendra Ballabh Pant, Bikram Bista, Sushan Karmacharya and Him Prasad Pathak, respectively. 

Teknath Acharya has been picked the general secretary unopposed, and Kabita Pokhrel the deputy general secretary. 

Abisha Mall, Isha Shrestha, Kuvera Man Nepal, Bijaya Mohn Bhattarai and Suman Kumari Joshi have been elected secretaries unopposed. 

In the election for the treasurer, Shankar Basyal won with 267 votes, while his contender, Mithun Chakravarti Prasad Paudel, received 82 votes. 

For the open members in the committee, Anup Acharya, Kadam KC, Jagadish Sivakoti, Jagat Bahadur Pokhrel, Narayan Kandel, Milan Khadka and Barnan Lamichhane have been elected unopposed. (RSS)
