Heavy rainfall possible in four provinces today
KATHMANDU:- The low-pressure trough of the monsoon is now situated around the average position.
The weather will generally remain cloudy across the country this afternoon.
Meteorological Forecasting Division has indicated a possibility of moderate rain in some areas of the hilly regions and a few places in the Terai region.
Heavy rainfall is likely to occur in one or two places in the hills of Koshi, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces.
Tonight, the weather will generally be cloudy across the country. There is a possibility of moderate rain in some areas of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and in a few places of the remaining hills and Terai regions, the division stated.
There is also a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi and Madhesh provinces, as well as in Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
