Generally cloudy weather likely today

KATHMANDU:- The country is currently under the influence of an upper-level western trough and local wind systems, resulting in generally cloudy conditions nationwide, the Weather Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology stated.

There is a possibility of moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning at some places in the hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces; at a few places in Madhesh Province, the Tarai regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and the hilly and Himalayan regions of Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces; and at one or two places in the Tarai regions of Lumbini and Sudurpashchim provinces, according to the Department. RSS
