Former Prime minister Deuba schedules return to Nepal on August 13

As Deuba prepares to return home, Police Spokesperson Abinarayan Kafle stated at a press conference held at Police Headquarters on Friday that records are being checked to determine whether or not an arrest warrant exists against him.

KATHMANDU:- Former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is set to return to Nepal on August 13. According to family sources, his return is scheduled for 12:00 PM on August 13.

Deuba had left Nepal on Phalgun 13 for medical treatment, specifically for a health check-up in Singapore. After completing his medical examinations and treatment in Singapore, he has been staying in Hong Kong.

Outgoing President Sher Bahadur Deuba is scheduled to address a gathering convened by the non-establishment faction of the Nepali Congress. Earlier, during a press conference held by the faction in Kathmandu on Friday, Dr. Shashank Koirala—coordinator of the gathering’s organizing committee—had announced that Deuba would address the national gathering, which is set to begin in Kathmandu on August 14.
