Deepak-Deepa’s film ‘Chha Maya Chhapakkai 2’ to be released on Dashain’s Phulpati
KATHMANDU:- The upcoming film ‘Chha Maya Chhapakkai 2’ by Deepak Raj Giri and Deepa Shree Niraula is set for a nationwide release starting on Phulpati during the Dashain festival.
The producers announced the release date on Saturday morning while unveiling the film’s poster. Accordingly, the film is scheduled to hit theaters on Phulpati, which falls on October 17.
Deepak and Deepa have been releasing films during Dashain every year, and this tradition continues this year as well.
The released poster for ‘Chha Maya Chhapakkai 2’ features actor Giri alongside Keki Adhikari and Sanisha Bhattarai. The male character is depicted playing a flute, while the two female characters flanking him are shown as pregnant.
The poster seeks to convey a great deal—metaphorically—about relationships and attitudes.
This is the sequel to the film *Chha Maya Chhapakkai*, which was released in 2019. The first installment was crafted around themes of politics and relationships; the second part, too, has reportedly been written with a focus on societal and political dimensions.
Rohit Adhikari is the producer of this film, which is directed by Dipendra Lama. The film was produced under the banner of Aama Saraswati Movies, Rohit Adhikari Films, and IME.
