Curfew imposed in Kathmandu Ring Road area

KATHMANDU:- The Kathmandu District Administration Office (DAO) has issued a curfew order in the Ring Road area of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City. 

Chief District Officer of Kathmandu Chhabilal Rijal issued the curfew order from 8:30 am today until further notice. The curfew has been imposed in response to demonstrations organized by ‘Gen Z’ groups that unleashed anarchy.

The DAO issued the curfew order from the Balkumari bridge area to Koteshwor Chowk, Sinamangal, Gaushala, Chabhil, Narayangopal Chowk, Gonggabu, Balaju, Swyambhu, Kalanki, Bagmati river bridge in Kathmandu.

During the curfew period, all movements, gatherings, demonstrations, rallies, meetings, and picketing are strictly prohibited within the specified areas. (RSS)
