Constitution Amendment Taskforce to submit report to government by mid-July

KATHMANDU:- A taskforce formed to prepare a dialogue paper on amendments to the Constitution is expected to present its report before the Prime Minister by mid-July.     

According to taskforce coordinator Asim Shah, who also serves as the chief political advisor to Prime Minister Balendra Shah, they are likely to submit the report to the Prime Minister within mid-July.     

At a programme organised Saturday at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers to unveil the government’s major accomplishments in its 100 days at the Office, taskforce coordinator said they are holding dialogues with various concerned stakeholders, constitutional experts, and political parties. “Now, we have reached the stage of drafting the report,” he said.(RSS)
