Chief Justice issues 21-point directive for effective justice delivery

KATHMANDU:- Chief Justice Dr Manoj Kumar Sharma has issued a 21-point directive to the Chief Judges of the High Courts and District Courts, asking the judges to work honestly for effective justice delivery.

The Chief Justice directed the judges to work with loyalty, responsibility, honesty and integrity to uphold the public trust in the judiciary, adding that the general public has expected fair, impartial, prompt, quality and effective justice execution.

Chief Justice Dr Sharma said that all bodies of the state should make vital contributions to maintain good governance as per the public expectations, and added that public service delivery could be made faster, easier, and more effective through the use of technology.

Likewise, the CJ has stressed the need for effective implementation of the fifth five-year strategic plan prepared by the judiciary and the crisis management action plan prepared after the Gen-Z Movement of September 8 and 9, 2025.
