Cabinet meeting: Decision to establish nine more area administration offices

KATHMANDU:- The government has decided to establish the area administration offices in nine districts.

A Cabinet meeting held on Friday decided to establish such offices at B P Nagar of Doti, Shreechangha of Taplejung, Dho of Dolpa, Khatyad of Mugu, Raskot of Kalikot, Koti of Bajura, Gokuleshwor of Darchula, Meghauli of Baitadi and Hitdanggadhi of Sankhuwasabha.

Spokesperson of the government and Minister for Communication and Information Technology, Jagdish Kharel, shared that the meeting also approved the organisational structure and adjustment of employees at the Home Ministry. Even the Citizenship Regulation (Fourth Amendment) was endorsed by the government.

Now onwards, Poush 15 would be observed as the National Mushroom Day.  A directive related to sending trainee workers in Japan has been scrapped, Kharel added.

Similarly, a decision has been made to grant work permit to the Nepali citizens in Iraq if they have acquired authorized visa of Iraq during foreign employment in Iraq and are able to submit an application along with original ‘residency card’ and its photocopy during their arrival in Nepal. (RSS)
