Cabinet decides to promote AIG Poudel as APF Chief

KATHMANDU:- The government has decided to promote Additional Inspector General Narayan Dutta Poudel to the post of Inspector General of the Armed Police Force Nepal.

A meeting of the Council of Ministers held today in Singha Durbar agreed to promote Poudel, appointing him as the Chief of the APF.

Poudel will succeed incumbent Chief Raju Aryal, who will be retiring on May 1, upon completing his four-year term.

The Government Spokesperson and Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Sasmit Pokharel, while sharing Cabinet decisions with the media, said that the meeting also decided to list the Security Printing Centre as a public entity to carry out commercial activities in competition with the private sector, and to issue a notice to this effect in the National Gazette.

Likewise, the Cabinet endorsed the Customs Regulations, 2083 BS.
