Prabha and Himal to participate in World Para Athletics

KATHMANDU:- Two Nepali athletes will compete in the World Para Athletics Championship. The championship to begin next day runs until October 5 in India.   

In men’s category, Himal Aryal will compete in the F-55 category shot put while in women’s category, Prabha Angdembe will compete in the T-47 category long jump.

President of the Para Athletics Association of Nepal, Omnath Shivakoti, and the Secretary Sangbu Bhote are in the managerial team. While wishing success to the team, Member Secretary of the National Sports Council, Tanklal Ghising, bid farewell to them at a programme held here on Wednesday.

The team departs for India tomorrow while President Shivakoti will leave after some days.
