Chitthi to be released on September 5

KATHMANDU:- The second song of the Nepali film Chitthi, titled ‘Sindoor Ko Rang’, which is set to be released nationwide on September 5, has been officially released in Kathmandu on Thursday.

Directed by Madhav Raj Kharel under the banner of Era Production, the film falls under the horror-comedy genre.

The lyrics of the song is penned by journalist Kamala Joshi, with Saroj Koirala composing the music and Benisha Paudel lending her voice. According to director Kharel, Sindoor Ko Rang is more than just a song; it is the voice of a woman’s soul, and he believes it will deeply move the audience. The song’s video features actors Sanjeet Bhandari and Kanchan Chalise, with singer Benisha Paudel also appearing in the song.

The newly released song portrays themes of marriage, trust, devotion, a woman’s silent struggle, and her unwavering faith in her husband.

The film aims to reflect social realities, systemic corruption, human tendencies, and family emotions, offering viewers a unique flavour with a contemporary message.

The cast includes comedian Khadga Bahadur Pun ‘Khabpu’, Sanjeet Bhandari, Gopal Dhakal ‘Chhande’, Nabaraj Thapa, Prabin Bhushal, Muskan Lama, Kanchan Chalise, Mohan Niraula, Namrata Kharel, Rajan Thapa, Rashmi Bhatta, Muna Niraula, among others.
