Sunil Thapa’s last film ‘Himalayan Gold’ to release on November 4

KATHMANDU:- The film Himalayan Gold, starring the late actor Sunil Thapa, is set for a nationwide release on November 4. Announcing the release date on Friday, the production team highlighted the film as Thapa’s final big-screen appearance.

Set against the backdrop of the Himalayan region, this survival thriller marks the feature film directorial debut of Dhiraj Rajbanshi. Pariksha Limbu plays the lead role, with Karma and Sunil Thapa also featuring in the cast.

Parikshya plays the role of a young woman named Sonam in the film. The story reportedly centers on her character, who unexpectedly finds herself in a perilous situation while traveling towards the Himalayas.

The film’s central narrative revolves around the struggle for survival, greed, and betrayal. The production team has stated that the film portrays the human tendency to claim ownership over valuable assets amidst the challenging terrain of the Himalayas, as well as the conflicts that arise from this drive.
