Possibility of moderate rain accompanied by lightning in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces
KATHMANDU:- The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has stated that the country is currently experiencing the partial influence of both monsoon winds and westerly winds. The monsoon low-pressure trough is situated south of its normal position.
As a result, the weather across the country is generally cloudy. Light to moderate rain is occurring in a few places within Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, as well as in one or two locations in Koshi Province.
Generally cloudy conditions will prevail across the country this afternoon. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in some places within the mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and in a few places within the mountainous regions of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
There is a possibility of light to moderate rain accompanied by lightning in many places across the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and in some places across the hilly regions of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces. Light to moderate rain accompanied by lightning is also likely in a few places across the Terai regions of the country. Heavy rain is possible in one or two places within the mountainous and hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
Tonight, the weather will be generally cloudy in the mountainous and hilly regions of the country—including Koshi Province—while the Terai regions will experience partial cloudiness. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain accompanied by lightning in a few places within the mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, as well as in one or two locations in the mountainous areas of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.
There is a possibility of light to moderate rain accompanied by lightning in some places across the hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, a few places in Bagmati Province, and one or two places in the hilly regions of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
The Department has stated that there is also a possibility of light to moderate rain accompanied by lightning in some places in the Terai region of Koshi Province; a few places in Madhesh Province and the Terai regions of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces; and one or two places in the Terai regions of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.
