Vice President Buddhi Subedi to provide 1 million in aid to flood victims through NRNA

LOS ANGELES:- Budhi Subedi, Vice President of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), has announced a contribution of NPR 1 million for the relief and rescue of flood victims in Nepal.

Subedi, a former president of NRNA USA, announced that the funds would be provided to the Government of Nepal’s relief fund through the NRNA ICC. Previously, the NRNA had already decided to contribute NPR 50 million for the relief and rescue of flood victims.

Subedi announced assistance while expressing sorrow over the significant loss of life and property caused by the devastating floods in districts including Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and Dhading.

Earlier, a team led by Dr. Hemraj Sharma, President of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), had begun distributing relief supplies in the Nuwakot and Rasuwa areas on Thursday.
