97 confirmed dead, 63 undergoing treatment following Bhote Koshi floods
KATHMANDU:- It has been confirmed that 97 people died as a result of the massive flood that struck the Bhote Koshi River in Rasuwa this morning; this figure was recorded as of 11:45 PM. According to data provided by the Nepal Police, the recovered bodies include 27 women, 37 men, 6 girls, 5 boys, and 20 individuals whose identities have not yet been established.
Among these, the body of one man was found in Rasuwa. In Nuwakot, the bodies of 11 individuals—5 women and 6 men—were recovered. Police reported that 18 bodies were found in Dhading, comprising 11 women, 5 men, and 2 unidentified individuals.
