Bhote Koshi Flood: 403 tourists out of contact
Among those who have lost contact, there are 203 men and 200 women. Indian tourists make up the largest group of the missing. So far, the list includes 133 individuals from India, 47 from the USA, 34 from Australia, 33 from the UK, 24 from Canada, 19 from Malaysia, seven from Ukraine, six each from Singapore and South Africa, and five each from New Zealand and Japan.
KATHMANDU:- 403 tourists have gone missing after being caught in a flood on the Bhote Koshi River in Rasuwa. According to the Nepal Tourism Board, 62 Nepali and 341 foreign tourists went missing after being swept up in the flood that occurred on the Bhote Koshi this morning.
Hikmat Singh Air, the Acting CEO of the Tourism Board, reported that 403 tourists who had traveled to Gosaikunda and Kailash Mansarovar through various companies have lost contact.

Additionally, the Nepal Tourism Board has reported that citizens from more than 25 countries—including Germany, France, Russia, Spain, Ireland, and the Netherlands—have gone missing after being caught in the floods.
The floods have caused extensive damage to settlements, police posts, and customs offices in the Timure and Syaphrubesi areas. Roads and bridges connecting to the Rasuwagadhi border crossing have also been damaged.
