WASHINGTON:- FBI Director Kash Patel has defended the Bureau’s performance, pointing to recent arrests and declining crime statistics.
Firmly defending his leadership, FBI Director Kash Patel responded to critics on July 1, stating, “The achievements of the FBI during President Donald Trump’s tenure have enhanced the agency’s effectiveness in controlling crime and ensuring public safety.”
“I don’t care what people think about me, but the results this FBI achieved under President Trump’s leadership speak for themselves,” Patel wrote on X on July 1.
The post included a video juxtaposing criticism of Patel with visuals highlighting actions he claimed were ‘operational achievements’ of the FBI.
The video begins with critics calling Patel a “laughingstock” and accusing him of making the country “weak and unsafe”; furthermore, they remark that Patel caused “unimaginable damage” to the FBI and was “the most incompetent director in the history of the FBI.”
