Both Houses of Federal Parliament Convening Today

KATHMANDU:- Both houses of Nepal’s federal parliament are scheduled to meet today with key agendas lined up for discussion.

The House of Representatives will convene at 1:00 pm. Prime Minister Balendra Shah is set to present the seventh annual report of the National Natural Resources and Fiscal Commission for the fiscal year 2082.

During the session, Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle will table the ‘Alternative Development Finance Mobilisation Bill, 2082’. The Speaker will also read out a letter received from the President’s Office regarding the hierarchy of Cabinet members.

Meanwhile, the National Assembly is scheduled to meet at 1:15 pm. In the upper house, Prime Minister Shah will present the annual report of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority for the fiscal year 2081/82.

The meetings are expected to focus on legislative business and key governance matters.
