Nepal beat Bhutan 2–1 in SAFF U-20 Championship

KATHMANDU:- Nepal registered a 2–1 win over Bhutan in the SAFF U-20 Championship on Monday.

The match was played at the National Football Stadium in Malé, Maldives.

Nepal took an early lead with Sujan Dangol scoring in the fifth minute. Subas Bam added another goal in the 52nd minute to strengthen Nepal’s position.

Bhutan pulled one back late in the game, as Dhendup Gyeltshen scored in the 83rd minute. However, Nepal held on to their lead to secure the win.

With this result, Nepal earned an important victory in the tournament.
