Former Minister Gupta remanded to judicial custody

KATHMANDU:- The special court has issued an order to remand former Minister Rajkumar Gupta to judicial custody in a bribery case.

The court today ordered to remand Gupta for investigation into the charges of accepting a bribe of Rs 7.8 million as per the Prevention of Corruption Act

The order was handed down by a divisional bench of judges, Sudarshan Dev Bhatta, Dilli Ratna Shrestha and Bidur Koirala of the special court.

Gupta was charged of accepting bribe when he was the Minister of Federal Affairs and General Administration. -(RSS)
