NC acting president Khadka urges cadres to involve in election activities

KATHMANDU:- Acting President of the Nepali Congress, Purna Bahadur Khadka, has stressed that both– general convention and general election– were mandatory to clear political uncertainty facing the country. 

Addressing the first general convention of association of private school teachers and staffs here Friday, Acting President Khadka called on party cadres to engross in election activities because NC had launched activities for election. “Expected result can be achieved in the election to the House of Representatives if the party successfully conducts its general convention,” Khadka opined.

The association’s general convention elected a 45-member central working committee unopposed under chairmanship of Bhola Nath Chalise. Sudip Bartaula, Dharma Raj Joshi and Rajendra Gautam were elected as senior vice-chairperson, general secretary and treasurer.

Similarly, Sujata Karki and Dev Kanta Yadav are deputy general-secretaries of the committee. The association is the well-wishing organisation of the NC. (RSS)
