RSP extended meeting: Reports of Acting President and General Secretary presented

CHITWAN:- Acting President Dol Prasad Aryal and General Secretary Kabindra Burlakoti have presented the political and organizational reports, respectively, in the extended meeting of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).

While presenting his 34-page political report In the extended meeting that kicked off in Sauraha, Chitwan on Friday, Acting President Aryal accepted the involvement of political cadres during the devastating incidents on September 9.

“RSP has demanded a fair investigation into the September 8-9 protests and action against the guilty”, he noted.
He suspected the incident of arson and vandalism during September 8-9 as a cold-blooded plan, adding justice would not be established without booking the guilty.

The report of the Acting President has stated that various video clips and footage have substantiated the evidence regarding engagement of political cadres in the devastation on September 9.

In absence of actions, the state of impunity would encourage such incidents in the future as well, it is stated. Bringing the guilty to action would only give a feeling of justice to the victims and ensure the rule of law, the report noted.

Only investigation would inspire the State to bring new policy and procedure with the methods to adopt precautionary measures while using force, apply appropriate ways to tame crowd and respect the peaceful demonstrations, Aryal mentioned.

RSP clarified that the party has set its political course of action to form the government with clear majority by laying its focused efforts for upcoming general elections.

Aryal further shared that the party has adopted a policy to forge unity, collaboration and alliance with the alternative forces for election-focused strategy.
