4.2 magnitude earthquake jolts Bajhang

KATHMANDU:- An earthquake measuring 4.2 on the local magnitude (ML) scale struck with its epicenter at Kotdeval in Bajhang district at 4:40 AM on Wednesday.

According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center (NEMRC) under the Department of Mines and Geology, the epicenter was located in the Kotdeval area of ​​Bajhang.

No details regarding human casualties or physical damage have been reported so far. Relevant authorities have stated that they are gathering further information.
