Weather to remain generally cloudy today
KATHMANDU:- The low-pressure trough of the monsoon is currently located in the south of its average position, and the weather is likely to remain cloudy throughout the country, the Meteorological Forecasting Division stated.
There is a possibility of moderate rainfall in some hilly areas of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces, and some parts of the Terai region.
Similarly, the weather will remain generally cloudy tonight. Some parts of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Sudurpaschim provinces will receive moderate rain tonight.
Likewise, one or two places of the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces are likely to witness heavy rainfall.
The division has indicated the risks of landslides and debris flows due to the rain, and has urged all concerned to adopt safety measures and preparedness.
