UML’s CC meeting taking place

KATHMANDU:- The CPN (UML) has called a Central Committee meeting this morning. 

UML’s Head of the Publicity Department, Rajendra Gautam, informed that the meeting has been scheduled for 9:00 AM this morning at Bhrikuti Mandap, the venue of the 11th National General Convention of the party.

He mentioned that the meeting has been called to discuss amendments to the party’s statute as well as current political issues.

He further informed that the closing session of the General Convention, initially scheduled for 8:00 AM, will now take place at 12:30 PM. The closing session was rescheduled due to the Central Committee meeting.  The General Convention will select new leadership. (RSS)
