Transit points on Nepal-India border in Saptari to be closed for three days

SAPTARI:- Considering the Legislative Assembly elections to be held in Bihar, India, the border crossing in Saptari will be closed from Sunday night.

According to the information shared through a notice issued by Saptari’s Chief District Officer, Tukaraj Pokharel, it has been decided to close the border adjoining Saptari for three days due to the legislative assembly elections in Bihar state of India. Chief District Officer Pokharel said the borders will be closed from 12 midnight on November 9 to 12 midnight on November 11.

The District Administration Office has stated that during this period, movement has been prohibited through all the checkpoints of Saptari along the border with Madhubani and Supaul districts in Bihar, India.
