Three-day public holiday announced for HoR elections

KATHMANDU:- The government has decided to accept financial assistance of 4 million US dollars from the Chinese government for the upcoming House of Representatives elections.

Government Spokesperson and Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal said a meeting of the Council of Ministers held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar on Monday decided to declare a three-day public holiday for the elections scheduled for March 5.

Public holidays will be observed on March 4, 5 and 6 across the country.
